What is the truth about the death of Egyptian preacher Omar Abdel Kafi?

On Monday, social media users circulated news claiming the death of the famous Egyptian preacher Omar Abdel Kafi.

A number of social media users wrote on their pages: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. We condole ourselves and the Islamic nation on the death of the eminent scholar, Dr. Omar Abdel Kafi.”

The Cairo 24 website stated that, by referring to the accounts of the famous preacher, it became clear that there were no blog posts or comments confirming these allegations.

On Sunday, the Islamic preacher posted a picture on his official Facebook page and commented on it: “During Hajj last year, may God accept it from us and from you, and may your Eid Mubarak be blessed.”

Dr. Omar Abdel Kafi Shehata is an Islamic preacher who was born in Minya Governorate in the village of Talla. He is interested in the scientific miracles in the Qur’an, the Arabic language, and the hadiths of the afterlife.
