Jayson Tatum, Celtics Beat Mavs in G2 as Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown Excite NBA Fans

The Boston Celtics have a comfortable 2-0 lead over the Dallas Mavericks after taking Game 2 105-98 on Sunday.

It was an all-around team win for the Celtics, who had five different players in double figures on the night.

Jrue Holiday continued to prove his importance with 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way for Boston. Jaylen Brown added 21 points and seven assists while Jayson Tatum and Derrick White had 18 points apiece. Tatum also had 12 assists and was one rebound away from a triple-double.

After the game, fans praised Boston for its team effort in the win.

The Celtics will now hit the road after taking the first two games at home and they'll look to continue what has been an impressive stretch of games. Dating back to the Eastern Conference semifinals, Boston has won nine straight games and is now 14-2 in the playoffs.

With all the momentum in the world, the Celtics have to be confident as they travel to Dallas for Game 3.

But Mavericks' star Luka Dončić and his squad will be looking to avoid a 3-0 deficit, so Boston will need to come prepared to get Dallas' best effort. If the Celtics can win on Wednesday, their first championship since 2008 will be well within sight.
