Adidas is making significant strides by reintroducing its iconic models from the past. Retro-style silhouettes have emerged as the season's must-have, with the Samba taking the spotlight as the latest sensation. They've become akin to the golden goose, flying off the shelves within hours of release and fetching triple their original price in limited editions on the fashion market. Thanks in part to collaborations like the one with Wales Bonner, the brand is fueling this frenzy further by introducing new color ranges and summer fabrics.
Yet, the brand's allure extends beyond the Samba. The legendary Gazelle, introduced in the mid-60s and embraced fervently in the late 90s, is once again basking in its own brilliance. Additionally, new models like the Spezial, drawing inspiration from this beloved retro aesthetic, are gaining momentum, as are the SL 72 in earthy brown tones. However, when reminiscing about designs from my formative years, none evoke nostalgia quite like the Campus.
With a rounded toe and in the most varied colors, now the brand is making waves with its new option under the name Campus 00s . Recovering the original design of the Campus from the 80s, the brand has updated them with details inspired by the aesthetics of the beginning of the century. Although little by little I have started to see them on the streets of Barcelona, the truth is that the French have discovered something to me: this silhouette will sweep without precedents throughout this summer.
THE MOST SUMMER EDITIONS THAT COULD SOON SELL OUT
Celebrating the arrival of good weather and with the sole intention of being one of the first to take this trend on the rise, the brand offers us an endless number of models where striking colors invite us to create looks full of fantasy. Combining them with dresses, linen pants or jeans, these nineties-style sneakers want to become the center of attention.
