Mancini confirmed in statements during the press conference that facing Pakistan is very important, and that he aims to win during it in order to obtain full points to strengthen the lead.
He explained that the Saudi team arrived in Pakistan one day before the match, in implementation of a system that was put in place in the previous two matches against the Jordanian and Tajikistan teams.
He pointed out that he prefers to train on his home field first and then play the last training session on the match field.
The Saudi national team coach warned against underestimating his Pakistani counterpart, stressing that he has great respect for them and that there are no major differences in modern football, as it is a match of eleven players against eleven players.
He continued: “The most important thing is that we are present with high concentration to achieve the goal for which we came, which is to win and return with points.”
The Saudi national team leads the Group Seven standings in the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with 10 points, while Pakistan is at the bottom of the standings with no points.
