Elon Weiss' last hug to his students watch

 

The late Elon Weiss taught 10th grade at Amit Eitan School in Ma'ale Adumim, two months ago he came out of the reserves to give his students a big hug

Elon was a father to seven and a grandfather to a granddaughter and educated sons in Ma'ale Adumim. Two months ago, during the reserve, Elon came to visit his students at school.

Reshet Amit reported: "Reshet Amit is mourning and pains over the death of Rabbi Ilon Weiss, a beloved and loving educator at Amit Eitan Ma'ale Adumim High School. Rabbi Elon, a 10th grade teacher, was a central figure in the school, a role model for his students and colleagues.

Daniel Barry, director of Amit Ma'ale Adumim says that "Amit Eitan was Rabbi Eilon's second home. Education was the center of his life and he saw the empowerment of each student as the fulfillment of a dream. He loved his students very much, and gave his life for them, just as he gave his life for the people of Israel. Our hearts go out to his beloved family and his students and his amazing character will be with us forever"

Guy Yafarah, Mayor of Ma'ale Adumim, said: "The break is great because Rabbi Eilon was the shining face of the school, a man full of love. The heart of the teachers' room and the coordinator of the system. The blow is painful because we have lost the great heart of an extraordinary educator. We are all with his dear family and students at so hard"
