Pentecost, a day marked by the birth of two religions
Pentecost is a special day, marked by the birth of two religions. Christians commemorate the "descent of the Holy Spirit" on the first disciples of Jesus, ten days after the Ascension. An event which symbolizes the birth of the Church.
For Jews, it is the holiday of Shavuot, the day when Moses receives the Ten Commandments.
