CELINE DION IS DETERMINED TO PERFORM AGAIN DESPITE ILLNESS

 

Celine Dion has had a very difficult time with her illness. In the trailer for the documentary I Am: Celine Dion, the Canadian singer talks about how much she would like to be on stage again and that she is determined to perform again. “I miss it so much,” says Dion. “If I can't run, I walk. If I can't walk, I crawl.”

Dion was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome in December 2022, a rare neurological condition that causes stiffness and spasms in the muscles. “I wasn't ready to talk about it before,” says the singer. "But now it is."

The documentary, which will be released on June 25, shows a year in the life of Dion
