Iraqi Kurdish singer Barwas Hussein announced that she has been diagnosed with cancer. She wrote on her social media accounts yesterday, Wednesday, in the Iraqi dialect and the Kurdish language: “I am always satisfied with the fate and fate that God has written for us. Yes, I am fighting the malignant disease intestinal cancer. I am currently in the treatment stage. Praise be to God and thanks for everything. The Arab public got to know the Iraqi Kurdish artist, Barwas Hussein, in 2013, during her participation in the Arab Idol program in its second season, when she sang in Arabic and Kurdish and amazed the jury and the audience. She was born in the city of Erbil in 1989, and is married to the Kurdish singer Goran and has two children, Kona and Gardan. Barwas Hussein is described as one of the most prominent Kurdish artists whose star shone in the world of Arab art outside the borders of Kurdistan and Iraq.
